Modules of the study course Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Management

Intercultural Competencies

Intercultural competence is the body of knowledge and skills to successfully interact with people from other ethnic, religious, cultural, national, and geographic groups. The traditional job profiles of specialist and executive staff must therefore be supplemented by intercultural communication and decision-making skills that enable them to act appropriately in cross-border business activities or work successfully in international project groups.
