International Economics

European financial crisis slows down global trade. Can the euro still be saved? Quo vadis Europe? - These are the headlines in the German papers Spiegel, Zeit and Handelsblatt. This module offers you the chance to understand current developments in the EU and its organisations in the context of the present economic situation. After completing the module, you are able to critically discuss aspects of economic policy, especially issues and problems concerning international monetary and financial policy as well as foreign trade policy.
