FOM as a part of the Erasmus programme

The FOM has been participating in the Erasmus-Programme since the winter semester 2009/10. The European Community Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students is an educational programme of the EU and allows students to gather experience in other European countries and to make use of the courses of study they offer. The most important requirement: an Erasmus contract of cooperation between the institutions of higher education.

As part of the Erasmus programme, students of the following partner institutions can study at the FOM. Benefit: they will be admitted to the FOM via a simplified process and do not have to pay tuition fees for the duration of their stay.

Conditions of participation:

  • The applicants must be enrolled in a course of study at their home university, which leads to a university degree.
  • The applicants must have sufficient knowledge of the German language.
  • The course duration at the host university must last at least three months and may not last longer than one year.

Please be aware that lessons are usually held in German. Good knowledge of German should therefore exist on arrival. Some modules of the bachelor course International Management are taught in English. If you are interested in studying at the FOM please speak (if this has not yet been the case) about the organisational process with the Erasmus coordinators at your home university. For your application please use the application form given below.  After being chosen by your home university, please send your complete documents to the Erasmus coordinator of the FOM.

For incoming students:
The application deadline for the winter semester and the complete academic year is 15 July, and for the summer semester 20 December. If you have any questions regarding your Erasmus stay, visa, insurances and search for accommodation please feel free to contact Mandy Georgi.
