Student Service

Up-to-date and in direct contact

FOM students combine full-time work with studying for a university degree. We support you with a number of special services so that you don't have to waste valuable time dealing with administrative formalities while studying and working.

The latest information via text message

If any last-minute changes occur, for example if a lecture venue changes, we inform you via text message to save you from making any unnecessary journeys. We also send you timely reminders of any administrative tasks that have to be carried out.

Advisory services by telephone, e-mail or in a personal meeting
If you have any questions relating to your studies at FOM, contact the Student Advisory Service on 0800 1 95 95 95 (toll free) or by e-mail. You can also make an appointment for a personal consultation. The teams of advisers at the study centres are available to offer you on-site advice and support.

Online Campus – also available as an app
The Online Campus enables you to take care of many formalities online, tasks that are often time-consuming and bothersome at other universities.

All graded work that you have to complete in the course of your studies is documented in your own personal Course Record Book. This gives you an overview of your personal workload at all times. You can also register for or withdraw from examinations online and find out exam results.

In the internal sector, you receive all information relating to your course – from university news, lecture notes and literature recommendations to details about lecture venues. An online forum also offers you the opportunity to engage in discussions with fellow students and professors.

Incidentally: the Online Campus is available as an app. The free software for iPhones and android smartphones also helps facilitate your studies.
